Envelope Converter Adjusters / Virginia

Our client, a well-respected printer conducting business nationwide, located in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, is continuing to grow and expand. The Envelope Adjuster is responsible for setup and operation of W+D 527 and/or W+D 102 Envelope Converters. The adjuster will also be able to independently perform job changes, to include window and size changes. The Envelope Adjuster is responsible for shift guidance of Envelope Machine Operators and is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and cleaning of equipment and work area. Converting Manager / Virginia

Our client, a major folding carton plant, needs to add a Converting Manager to its team. This professional will manage the operation of the cutting, die making, and stamping departments in the plant in a manner meeting the company’s production, quality, waste, safety, and cost standards. Our client, a state of the art printer located in Suburban Chicago, is seeking to add a scheduler to staff. The Ideal candidate for Scheduler will Ensure that jobs are on and off press in a timely manner. Collect data for PrintFlow to confirm tasks are completed and checked off in system. Review job ticket for clarity. Review layout for best press conditions. Pre-stage plates and paper for press following schedule. Work with Project Managers to ensure PrintFlow links are properly created. Manages all aspects of press okays: study job-ticket, see that layout, copy, register and all criteria meet spec’s, ensuring color matches approved proof. Ensures all required workflow procedures are followed & documentation is completed & approved before jobs run. Coordinate downstream tasks after print. Envelope Adjusters / Minnesota

Our client, a well-established printing firm located in the Minneapolis Metro area, needs several envelope adjusters. All shifts were available. The Envelope Adjuster sets up, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains FL Smithe, and W&D envelope converting equipment to meet deadlines while reducing waste and ensuring quality and quantity goals are met. Responsibilities also include: Working closely with Machine Operators and Quality Control Coordinators to resolve problems, setting appropriate machine speeds, and determining when equipment shut down is necessary due to safety or poor quality. Entering job adjustment data into the Hagen system per job tickets and verifying accuracy of information. Setting up and hanging paper rolls to assist Material Handler; backing up machine operator for breaks as needed. Conducting a smooth transition between shifts to gain all information without interruption to production. Ordering necessary parts and coordinating with suppliers when maintenance is necessary. Providing training to the crew and other employees as needed. Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
